HISTORY OF THE FOUNDING MITSUBISHI COMPANY
I'll give you a little information about the history of the founding of the Mitsubishi company, first, Mitsubishi Company which we know as car manufacturers not to produce cars. In 1870 Yataro Iwasaki started his business with three steamships that he rents from Tosa clan. The company was named Tsukumo Shokai. Business continues to evolve to the various fields. Tsukumo Shokai experienced three name changes, namely Mitsukawa Shokai, Mitsubishi Shokai, Jokisen Kaisha Mitsubishi (Mitsubishi Steamship Company), Yubin Kisen Kaisha Mitsubishi. Yubin Kisen Kaisha Mitsubishi became the first Japanese company that has a route to the foreign countries, namely China.

The new Eclipse will be equipped with a 2.4-liter SOHC MIVEC miniature, 4 cylinder engine that will generate 162 horsepower and another option, a 3.8-liter that will churn out 265 hp. In line with the manufacturer’s propositions, the robust engine will attain high performance enabling it to accelerate from 0-to-60 mph within six seconds.
