2016 HONDA RIDGELINE Review And Release Date - The Honda Ridgeline is a mid size sport utility truck manufactured since 2005. Production of the first generation ended in Lincoln, Alabama in middle of 2014. That same year, the company announced the fact that in the next two years to develop new generation. Japanese leaders still do not want to give any information of the drive unit. We know what competition offers, so we can speculate. You probably should expect a new engine. Most opportunities has some four cylinder setup with an output of 250-300 horses. How safe option will be offered a well-known 3,5L V6 engine with output more close to 300 horses. To remind you, the current option has 250 horses and 247 lb-ft of torque. The new generation will transfer power to the all wheel with the help of an automatic transmission with five speed. With the acceleration of 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) for 9,5 seconds; new Ridgeline can achieve a top speed up to 120 mph (190 km/h).

Japanese giant plans to launch new 2016 Honda Ridgeline at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show. Sales would follow somewhat later. The official price is still not known, but it is speculated to be around $38,000 for base model.
