2016 LINCOLN MKX Concept Release Date - 2016 Lincoln MKX will make big debuts next year and mark the beginning of the new generation. Lincoln already presented Concept crossovers, which showed us what to expect from the latest, 2016 MKX. Earlier on, Ford presented its plan to make a major sales boost of Lincoln’s model. The plan is to triple the sales up to 300,000 units per year, by 2020. In order to completes this goal it Ford will add two model to Lincoln’s model line-up, and, additionally, the replacement for the MKS. The realization of the mentioned plans will cost the Ford Company around $2.5 billion.

2016 LINCOLN MKX - INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR DESIGN
The concept design of the 2016 Lincoln MKX wills be mostly taken from the concept, but Lincoln officials will definitely changes some things in order to make wow effects once again, after 2016 MKX reveal. Design tweaks that will be carried over froms the concept will, most likely, include split grill, hoods finishing lines as well as side body lines. Under the hoods of stylish 2016 Lincoln MKX will be placed the same engine as for the previous model. Base 3.7-liter V6 engine will continue to delivers 305 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Although this engine offers great performances of the models, the fuel economy it delivers is not so great, in fact it returns 20 mpg (which is around average).
Lincoln may offer another, optional engines, possibly a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 or some of turbocharged four-cylinder engine, in order to provide more economical options for its budget-oriented customers. Front- and all-wheel drive will be offered, while transmission choices are still unknown.

Compared to its predecessors, 2016 Lincoln MKX will feature price increase, and its starting price is expected to be around $40,000. The release is expected sometime during the next year, probably on summer.
