2016 SUZUKI BALENO Review Release Date - In September 2015 Suzuki presented news Baleno during Frankfurt Auto Show. It is a production model from iK-2 concept which belongs to the B segment. This compact hatchback bring spacious trunk, three drive options (including hybrid) and fresh exterior design. The vehicles is destined exclusively to the European market as competition for Ford Fiesta and VW Polo. Given that the cost of this is not set the uppers limit at which we can equate. Cabin next to a large trunk (12.5 cubic feet) can accommodate up to five passenger. With 7 inches touchscreen, iPhone connection and infotainment system is completely subordinate to the European purchaser.

New mechanical platforms (means less weight) and greater rigidity with luggage compartment of 355 liters will be the main expectation in relation to competitions. Overall length is 3.995 mm, width is 1.745 mm, while height is 1.470 mm. Tires will be mounted on 15 and 16 inches alloy wheel. The 2016 Suzuki Baleno design is based on well known iK-2 concept with differences in side skirt, wheel arches and front mask. The biggest complaint goes to headlamps which are borrowed from the Swift.

Under the hoods of 2016 Suzuki Baleno expect three drive options. First is 1,2L Inline-4 Dualijet engine with output of 89 horses and 89 lb-ft of torque. This engines will be paired with manual or CVT automatic transmission, both with five speeds. With acceleration of 0-62 mph for 8 seconds, new Baleno can reach a maximum speed up to 125 mph. Second engines is 1L 3-cylinders Boosterjet petrol engine with output of 110 horses and 125 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be unlike the previous an automatics six speed transmission, while the handheld remains the same five speed. Third option is SHVS or Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki. It is a combinations of 1,2l petrol engine and an electric motor. It should emits only 93 grams.

After the lover of this compact hatchback finally met new edition at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show came the first call it disappointment. The sales will not starts before spring of 2016. Its retail price will be announced at the same time. So we have no choice, still waiting.
