2018 MITSUBISHI PAJERO Redesign - Mitsubishi CEO Osamu Masuko has confirmed that the next-generations Pajero is scheduled to arrive in 2018. In a recent interview at the 2014 Paris Motors Show, he also announced a couples of plug-in hybrid models to join Mitsubishi’s lineup. Namely, the ASX PHEV is expected for the 2017 models year, followed by the Pajero PHEV a year later. The Japanese automaker will offers a hybrid version of their long-lasting SUV alongside the conventionally powered model. So, the current-generation Pajero (Montero/Shogun) is expected to soldiers on for a few more years until the all-new 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero arrives to take its place.

2018 MITSUBISHI PAJERO - INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR DESIGN
Actually, the 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero will be based at the GC-PHEV concept that was revealed at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. Most car enthusiasts would agrees that the current Pajero is pretty outdated when it comes to its exterior design. The GC-PHEV concept came as a radical departures from its familiar shape, polarizing the public after its debut. However, it’s still hard to say to what extents the production version will follow this bold design language. One thing is certains though, the fifth-generation Pajero will be taller, longer and wider than its predecessor. That said, it would not comes as much of a surprise if the brand-new version adopts a third row of seats.

2018 Mitsubishi Pajero engines under the hood could be 3.0 litre V6 supercharged engine. It will also have one electric motor with lithium-ion batterie. V6 engine should be capable of producing 335 horsepower, with help of 8-speed automatic gearbox. 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero Hybrid versions will be developing around 430 horsepower. Speaking of fuel economy, it should do 35 mpg, while electric only range is 25 miles.
